Review and analyze system specifications and requirements
Develop, maintain, execute test cases, and estimate for assigned effort
Log defects and track to closure, working with the development team to establish defects. validity, cause, and retesting as required
Experience in DB testing and in writing simple- to medium-complexity SQL queries
Conduct pre-release testing
Perform smoke testing, sanity testing, regression testing, and verify claimed bug fixes

Proven 2y+ experience as a QC tester or similar role
BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent combination of experience and education
Experience with bug tracking software such as Jira and Azure
Working skills in developing and maintaining testing documentation
Excellent attention to detail, with an ability to multitask and meet deadlines
A strong understanding of the software test cycle process
Ability to work independently and also in a team setting
Ability to learn quickly and effectively.
Good verbal and written communication skills in English
Good experience in manual testing for web-based applications
Experience in API testing and using API testing tools, such as Postman, SoapUI...
Experience in writing scenarios with Gherkin syntax
Basic knowledge of UI and UX
The following is considered highly advantageous:
Professional certification in software testing or quality control is an advantage
Experience in TestRail or equivalent is a plus
